Well the short answer to is Affiliate marketing for beginners is a big yes. But it may not be a good choice for everyone.
Why not you ask, well you do need to be able to work on your own which can be challenging for some people, but others thrive on working alone.
The whole process of starting up in affiliate marketing is quite a quick procedure.
But that doesn’t mean that it is totally free of problems.
Having said that, you could be advertising someone’s affiliate product very fast.

So then, let’s break down the whole process and see exactly what you need and what is involved in starting up in affiliate marketing.
- Firstly You will need a computer you could use a phone or tablet but you will really struggle writing content. You can’t beat a laptop or home pc
- Of course you also need a good internet connection.
- Next you need website hosting and a website.
When you pick a domain name for your site the .com is still the best option to use.
These items are the most basic things you will need at the outset.
Now depending where you get your hosting from, will in many ways make the difference of being either a breeze to set up your website with WordPress or in some cases that I have experienced a total nightmare and very time consuming.
The place I use now takes about 30 seconds to make a basic working website, for me to start building out my content, pictures, offers, etc.
Stage 1
The first step is of course to get a website up and running with the basic features ie.
home page, about, posts, contact, privacy policy, and a affiliate disclosure policy, and maybe a couple of other menu items.
Stage 2
After you have your website setup you have to start adding content, writing about whatever niche or subject you have chosen to talk about so that you can promote affiliate products in the same genre.
But you do not add affiliate offers yet as your site may get punished by google and never get any visits.
Stage 3
Now you have to play the waiting game.
This is what happens with a new website, Your site will not get any visitors straight away in fact it may take several months before the site see’s any visitors at all.
But slowly and surely as the site gets bigger with more and more consistent content being added all the time the visitor numbers will start to climb and once the ball starts rolling the visitor clicks on your site will pick up speed quite quickly.
Then before you know it you could have hundreds then thousands of visits per week.
Stage 4
Once your site starts gaining consistent numbers of visitors, then is the time to start adding affiliate offers.

First of all you will have to look at all the places that give you goods to promote on their behalf so that you can receive a commission.
Most people start with Amazon as it’s an easy place to start with as a beginner, and they accept most people first time.
Although they have recently dropped the commission rates on most of the products. It’s still a great place to learn the ropes. There are a lot of people who have and still are making a very healthy living off of Amazon.
Once you have been in the game for a while then this is the time to start looking around for other companies that supply affiliate goods for us, so that we can all promote and earn an income.
Stage 5
Depending on what the niche is you are talking about, then you have a couple of options.
If your topic of content was to be in the healthy eating area. Then you would have a huge amount of information and many different topics to pick from. Like healthy food, cooking, recipes, calorie counting, different diets etc etc.
But if you have chosen a very small niche like head torches you will quickly run out of content ideas. I mean how much can anyone write about head torches. Although there is Probably someone who is writing lot’s of content.
So if you have a big niche great carry on and just get bigger and better.
But if not and your niche is tiny then the only option is to start a new website using a different niche. Rinse and repeat as the saying goes.
Some people have dozens of different sites promoting a huge amount of goods overall.
Conclusion
